EP1 (2008) December, 2008. Finally, I started being productive again. I was so excited to have some new material to share, I didn't bother to save it for a full album. This 18-minute and 32-second release marked a new stepping stone for Void Ant. On this album, I moved away from the loop department significantly. There are still a few samples to be heard, but most of the album is comprised of longer stretches of the recorded improvisations. In addition to the typically distorted guitar, we have an Ebow, and a synthesizer. In its design, EP1 retains the science fiction elements found in most of my work.
