Diesel is an example of why one should never decide too early which puppy is a keeper. Diesel, like his name implies, was a bit of a slow starter compared to his Engine litter siblings. As a puppy he took longer than the others to get used to new things. However, Diesel has become a star on Rick’s team and is one of the most endearing dogs you could ask for. He is quickly becoming a favorite lead dog, and is a real asset on the team.
