Instructors:
Sandy MacDavid
Sandy has been doing agility for many years. She and her dog Emma have accumulated the most clean runs (perfect scores) in agility of all the dogs in Canada, ever!  Emma is an Australian Cattle Dog that Sandy rescued. Emma went from an unwanted, untrained dog to go on to become the Agility Association of Canada (AAC) 2008 and 2009 National Champion (16" Specials) and the Canine Performance Events (CPE) 2008 and 2009 HIT Regular National Champion (where this pair earned a perfect score both years!). They also placed first (16" Specials) at the 2009 Ontario Regionals and the Steeplechase Finals. Sandy and Emma have also earned the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award Of Excellence and the Versatility Lifetime Award from the AAC. Running with Sandy, Emma became the AAC top ranked agility dog in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008!  Sandy has also had great success with her Miniature American Eskimo Dog, Twister, who has also earned her Lifetime Achievement Award Of Excellence and finished 2nd at the 2009 AAC Nationals (6" DD Veterans). Sandy is a judge for both the AAC and CPE. She hosts many agility trials yearly for both organizations.

Sharon Ransom
Sharon has been doing agility for about eight years. Currently, you'll find her running courses with her 5 year old red Border Collie named Kaos. They have been competiting in agility since 2006. Kaos is well known for his huge, toothy smile! Sharon rescued Kaos at 5 months old. Her plan was to foster Kaos and to find a great home for him, but fell in love instead! He had such an awesome desire to work, so they started training. That was the beginning of a bond that was meant to be. Together, they have earned their Gold Award Of Merit and the Versatility Silver Award from the Agility Association Of Canada (AAC). They are  very close to attaining one of the AAC's top honours, a Lifetime Achievement Award of Excellence. They have also earned one of CPE's (Canine Performance Events) top awards - a C-ATCH.  In 2008, for the number of Q's earned that year, Kaos was the top Border Collie in Canada - he finished 3rd overall (Regular Division) and was the 1st place Gambling (Regular Division) dog. Sharon is also an AAC judge and has been volunteering in the AAC & CPE for many years.
