My Lover

By Ariah Jade

Book One

.

Move your hands over my body,
As a ship moves over waves.
Sail slowly forward
At an ever present pace,
And if the tide should
Quickly turn,
don’t give into rage.
Just speak softly to me,
tender words of strength.
With your lips and fingers
Take the fear away.

Seek me with a gentle hand,
Not the breaking force of might.
Let your direction be of trust and faith
As lust brings tearful flight.
Before you push to enter me,
A diving eagle seeking pray,
Pull me tightly into you
That I might feel your caring need.

If you sail for a night
Or for an endless year,
Know that I miss you
But not cry a single tear.
As the waters come and go
Leaving only pools,
Your friendship will mean more to me,
Than your passion ever could.
