Keeper of my Soul

By Ariah Jade

Book One

.

The heart of a good horse,
Will carry the soul of a man.

I am wind and fire.
I burn for you.
My eyes and heart open,
I alone shall carry you.
You will find me,
Your wingless angel.
I wait for your need.

Emulate,
If it is passion you seek
You shall have it in me,
If it is vengeance,
I shall kill.
If you desire peace,
I will show you beauty.

I shall not leave you.
Through hells violence,
Through high water,
Over mountains
And washed out roads.
Through darkness
Into the dawning light.

I will move with you.
My steps will resound.
I move as you choose,
My strength I lend to you,
When you have none.
My wild heart yours to have
When your heart is breaking.

In your desperate hour,
The walls closing around you,
All beauty lost to your eyes.
Your wounded soul, broken
by those who do not see
As I see.
Seek me, in the place you left me.

I will join you
In your desperation.
If your need has it
I will run for you
I will take up the burden
That you alone have held
And in my flame, shall burn it.
