Tears for Ash

Alone
This terror that is stalking me
gets closer by the day
and though i have faught it
more than once
i am completely spent.
The only ones i asked for help
all turned me away.
So all these tears, i cry alone
when the terror i must face.
I hate that im not strong enough
to fight this on my own.
I never really understood
what it meant
to have to stand alone.
I hate that in my weakness
i just want it all to end.
Im not as strong as you think.
Even stone can crack.
I have fought as hard as i could,
to save myself from this,
So when i finally give up
please dont think less of me.
Remember the things i said to you
and all the good i did.
I only hope i made a difference
So you dont ever feel like this.
