I wonder if you miss me
When I’m not around.

When you’re out on the town.

I would do anything for you.
I wonder if you are falling for me
Like I’m falling for you.

I wonder if I mean as much
As the girls you talk about.
I wonder if you know me
As well as I know you.
I wonder if I told you
Exactly what I think
If it would change a single thing
Or not mean anything.

I wonder if you understand
How much you changed my life,
Or how you are responsible
For the peace I found.
I wonder if you would want to spend
Some time alone with me
And not go out or anything
Just maybe watch a movie.

I wonder if you would let me
Fall into your arms
And lay there with you all night
Just listening to your heart.
I wonder if you had the chance,
If you would reach out
Or if you just feel you have to
When I’m feeling down.

I wonder if we walked alone
If you would hold my hand.
I wonder if you will ever really
Completely let me in.
I wonder if you will ever say
Exactly what you think,
Or if I will be with you for decades
But as no more than your friend.

I wonder if a time will come
That I will have to make a choice
Between keeping you as a friend
And risking everything.
I wonder if it will ever hurt
That you are not with me
I pray to God it never does
Because I would have to walk away.
