I have been involved with horses all my life.  My grandfather showed “general purpose” horses for years.  My uncle showed Clydesdale horses and I couldn’t wait to spend my summers on that farm.  My love for horses grew and I learned a lot especially good “showmanship”.  In order to keep me at home my father purchased “Commercial Horses”.  We were very successful and had a lot of fun.  Before and after every show we always shook hands, - this relieved the tension.  When Dale (my husband) and I had Leanne and Thomas, Papa purchased a miniature horse for them.  During the summer of 2004, Papa Harry Poole and Papa Don Johnston helped build a barn on our property which stabled four Falabellas.  We now have thirteen beautiful miniatures. Our logo THE HANDSHAKE, and farm name ‘PAPAS’ PRIDE” was chosen to depict our appreciation for making our dream come true.                                               Brenda Johnston
