Fishing Tips !

This week started out a little slow. The hot, sunny & calm weather makes for fisherman days not really fish days. The crew has been catching Walleye and Pike, but it is work. We are hoping for some wind and a good Walleye chop to stir things up. Casting big lures for Pike is working with some success. 40" is the largest so far. A lot of 4 - 6 lbs caught and released. The largest Walleye this week so far was a 26.5 incher caught by Ted. Looking for Walleye Chop!!!!!! We have had some wind start to blow and guess what, the walleye fishing has picked up. With many fish being caught in several of the regular spots (third island, delaware, weed bed). Crawler and harness rigs seem to be working very well.
