 |
This week has been a little different when it came to catching Walleyes. Many fish were caught by using slip bobbers and minnows while anchoring in the hot spots. The normal fall spots produced a lot fish, but it seemed floating jigs were being outfished by the bobber fishermen. The first part of the week was producing quite a few small fish mixed with the larger ones. After the weather cooled off it seemed to turn on the larger fish. Crawlers as well as minnows seemed to be working this past week.
This week produced a couple of nice Pike, mainly caught while Walleye fishing.
Don't forget the depth finders, Crawlers or Minnows. You may want to be sure and bring some slip bobbers in your tackle box also. It is also a good idea to invest in good rain gear for fall fishing, even if we don't get rain they can help cut the cool wind !.
