JUBILANCE SINGERS AND ORCHESTRA DRAW GREAT RESPONSE!

March 16! What a great time as Jubilance ministered to almost 300 in attendance at the 11 a.m. church service! Among the singers was Matthew Rodgers, one of our own, and his wife Lee Ann Rodgers, a trombone player who also is one of our own!

The presentation of music, singing, and testimony was dynamic, personal, and inspiring.

We say thank you to Rev. Manne Idestrom, founder and director for bringing the group to us for this special presentation. The group are planning to be in Cuba in the immediate future and at the invitation of Fidel Castro they are performing part of "The Hallelujah Chorus". What a mission!

CONGREGATION OUT TO LUNCH!

Well, not quite.

But the congregation did stay for lunch at the church following the March 16 concert.

Bag lunches were stacked full of food and were given to all (almost 250) who stayed following the musical presentation. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and sharing in small groups around the tables. We look forward to repeating these luncheons on a regular basis!

Thanks to the committee who assisted in the food preparations. The team included Bob and Gayle Peck, Gary and Heather Wells, Pat Stuckless, Beulah Courtney, and Pastor Howard Courtney.

PRIMETIMERS CELEBRATE

ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

One thing for sure... the Seniors of Innisfil aren't GREEN, even though there might have been a lot of green present! On March 11, the PrimeTimers met for a pot luck luncheon and shared a great time of fellowship. These monthly gatherings of seniors are always a time of inspiration and encouragement for those who attend. May God continue to give our PrimeTimers much health and joy as they faithfully serve Him. Last year this group gave $700.00 to support a pastor in the Former Soviet Union.

YOUNG COUPLES' NIGHT OUT

On Saturday, March 8, the young couples met together. Over 16 gathered in the living room, family room, kitchen, halls, etc. of Matthew and Lee Ann Rodgers' home to enjoy an evening of fun, fellowship and inspiration together. Ryan Galashan shared a brief devotional and each one drew a name from the hat to share as a prayer partner for the coming month. The next young couples night will be held on April 12. Call 436-1611 for details.

STUDENT INTERN COMPLETES HIS INTERNSHIP AT INNISFIL!

That's right! Dennis Fehr has just completed his two month full-time internship on staff here at Innisfil Community Church.

During his time with us as intern he was able to join in board meetings, teach Bible Studies, visit Seniors' Homes, work with the Junior Youth, plan outings, coordinate the "Couples Out" nights, lead in prayer in church, write out his personal testimony, attend the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast, view the Used Clothing operation, and familiarize himself with the church office routines, among other activities. It was a full two months schedule. We congratulate him on successfully completing the program with excellence.
