OCTOBER, 2002

OCTOBER... The month of the pumpkins!!!!!

Never looked at it like this before..............

A woman was asked by a co-worker, "What is it like to be a Christian?"
The co-worker replied, "It is like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then he cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., and then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see." (This was passed on to me from another pumpkin. Now, it is your turn to pass it to a pumpkin. I liked this enough to send it to all the pumpkins in my patch. )

MUNICIPAL WATER HOOK-UP

After a long process of investigation and special approvals, the church has connected to the local municipal water supply.

A joint project with our church neighbour allowed us to coordinate work and share costs, saving us considerable dollars.

Although we are externally connected to the municipal supply there is still work to be done before we are up and running! We are still in the process of revamping the inside lines, removing our water softener and Ultra-Violet light purification system that protected the previous well supply. We will then need to "de-commission our well.
