Greetings!

January, 2002 is only days away from us now. How time seems to fly so quickly. We all were wondering what the bringing in of the new millenium would be like. But by now we are all used to signing our cheques and dating them in the 2,000's! And soon we will date them as 2002! Y-2-K has come and gone!

Here at Innisfil Community Church we have seen new and fresh growth. Though many of our folk have moved away, some gone off to further education, and others simply relocated at in area churches, our Sunday morning attendance still stands at over 80% full!

First, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your faithful support of the work here in the heart of Innisfil. For over 22 years we have been serving the residents. Few local people have not been touched by some program, service, or activity at the church. Whether their children have ridden the bus to Sunday School, or their teen has experienced the dynamics of the Friday night youth program, or someone has attended to give blood at one of the Blood Donor Clinics hosted by the church, we have tried diligently to serve.

And you have helped us! Thank you for your PRAYERS! Thank you for your continued KINDNESS to us. Thank you for allowing us to come into your home to share the ministries and programs of the church. YOU are important to us.

The church board have been seeking to plan for the future. We have had plans to build a larger capacity auditorium from as far back as 1990. However at that time we felt the need was more pressing to proceed to provide for additional office space and fellowship hall. That was completed, and in 1998 we chose to hold off once again on the main auditorium proposal to allow for the addition of a full size gym. The gym, youth area and Fireside Lounge have proven most helpful. But the time is moving closer for a larger auditorium. And the board have been deliberating with a plan for the future.

We want everyone to hear the Good News of Jesus' birth, death, resurrection. We want to prove faithful until He comes again. And we want to provide the resources and programs that will assist YOU to reach the full potential that God has created in you.

Please continue to avail yourself of the many opportunities to be enriched by the ministries of the church.
