JANUARY, 2001
PASTOR'S NOTE:
As we approach another New Year, that of 2001, we want to express our personal thanks to God for His presence and blessings over the past year, the beginning of this new millennium. We have seen His hand at work in many ways.
YOU have been a significant part of what has been
accomplished this past year.
YOUR PRAYERS and
financial gifts have allowed us the privilege to help many
throughout our community. We say "THANKS" to you for this.
With God's help we will endeavor to continue to be faithful
inserving Him and you.
May God bless and prosper you in the new year!
OUR SYMPATHY...
Pray for Don Scott as he has recently lost his wife Judy. Judy fought a courageous battle with cancer since her diagnoses in 1997. Judy is Marie Ali's sister.
ALPHA COURSE CONCLUDES!
Under the leadership of Anthony and Annette Langeveld the Alpha Course ran for the first time at Innisfil Community Church. It was indeed a great success and the stories and testimonies of great things being accomplished are numerous. A special celebration Sunday was held at the church and the program was extremely well received.
MEN'S MINISTRIES
The men extended an invitation to their spouses for the December "Men's Breakfast". Several attended and Gayle Peck shared her testimony. It was a great morning together!

ALCONA SENIORS CLUB...
During the Christmas season a number of community folk, businesses and local clubs took on the compassionate heart of helping people celebrate Christmas. Among them was the Alcona Seniors Club who donated food, gift certificates and cash to help others. They regularly donate food through the church to needy families throughout the year.

For those who wish to regularly support the on-going ministries of Innisfil Church, tithe envelopes are now available for 2001. Call the office or ask the Pastor for your set!
MORE BANQUET NEWS!
Innisfil Community Church hosted their annual Church Family Christmas Banquet on Saturday, December 2. Approximately 200 were present to enjoy Wally White's music ministry. A special feature include the pastors and their wives in a "Sister Act"!!!! (You had to be there!)
SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT
The annual Sunday School Concert as led and directed by Pastor Lori-Lynn Head, and Pam Running went off without a hitch on Sunday evening, December 17. Over 200 were in attendance and "Christmas Around The World" was well portrayed by the Sunday School students.
Thanks to all the teachers and helpers in putting this year's concert together!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Gary Preston's continues to need our prayer support as he battles with the horrible disease of cancer. Please uphold him at this time.
YOUTH CHRISTMAS BANQUET
The annual "Face 2 Face" youth Christmas banquet was held on Friday, December 15. Featured guest musicians were "STEADFAST". The youth looked amazingly stunning as they came in for the evening. Many of the young ladies wore corsages given to them by their special "friend". The food was great and the program was enjoyed by all.
PRIMETIMERS CHRISTMAS DINNER
After being postponed on Tuesday due to the snow storm, the Primetimers enjoyed a wonderful time together with a full course Christmas dinner on Wednesday, December 13. Thanks Gil and Delores for all your hard work in coordinating these activities for the seniors.
AS YOU READ THIS LETTER, YOU MAY THINK ALL WE DO IS EAT! THERE HAVE BEEN A LOT OF SPECIAL DINNERS HAPPENING!
FREE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DINNER
Several volunteered to assist us in hosting a free Community Christmas Dinner On Christmas Eve at the church on Christmas Eve. Early reports at the time of this writing indicate a very strong response by both those who want to avail themselves of this offer and those who wish to help by providing finances or products for the evening. This effort is being coordinated by Pastor Craig Head.
