The most recent published version of the Wates Family Saga has been updated with the help of many family members and is still available in PDF format upon request. A Rich Text version can also be requested. Just send either Brian or myself an email and we will send you the full Saga.
In the revised edition, great care has been taken to ensure the original work of Margaret Pitt remained intact. Where errors were found, the correction was added rather than replace the original information. The exception to this are dates.
In all cases, wherever new information has been added, it is in bold-faced text. You will also see a large amount of information in italics. This is information uncovered by Margaret herself and was hand-written by her on an original copy of the Saga.
