Surrounded by grain and cattle farms and situated on the No. 7 Hwy between Calgary and Saskatoon, our little village boasts just over 120 residents and serves as home for many families working in nearby Kindersley or in the oilfield. Whether it be seniors or young families, people who move here find it a less expensive, friendly and safe place to live.
If you were to spend some time here, you would be surprised at the number of services provided to residents. For example, a wife & mother with years of experience working in a small cafe,
recently purchased the local gas & convenience store which includes full postal service, serves up an excellent home cooked meal everyday and even provides local farmers & workers with take out meals.
Children are bussed to Marengo (7 miles away) to attend Westcliffe Composite, a K-12 school with small class sizes and plenty of opportunity for quality instruction from an excellent staff.
Health and ambulance services are provided 20 miles away in Kindersley, but we have 9-1-1 service and very capable First Responders both in town and the surrounding area.
You'll find that neighbors are very good at looking out for one another too!
