They are very important as they are the basis of your organization's identity.

There are many things to consider when designing it - you want it to be memorable but also readable. Some designs don't work as well when they are reduced in size to fit on a business card or blown up large for a poster.

The number of colours used in the design can affect the price of all your future print and signage work. The more colours, the more expensive it may be, so it is often useful to have a couple of different colour versions (including black) to avoid this issue.
