Xpmidi

Xpmidi: XPMIDI saves favorite midi directories in its rc file, and handles the turning off of notes if a play is interrupted. It features an easy to use GUI. Released under the GNU public license so you can modify and improve it. Download size is 4k -- includes the executable script and a short README. The latest version supports multiple directories in the playlist. This python/tkinter is designed to help you determine the speed of a piece of music on the radio or on a CD. You just tap the on your keyboard and the tempo is displayed. Sure beats counting with a stopwatch! XPMIDI requires Python 2.2 with tkinter.
