Stops
We are happy to provide overnight stalling or paddocking for horses requiring rest stops. Proof of negative coggins test will be required for all horses, and health papers for horses being shipped internationally. Accommodation, hay, water and bedding included for $25 per horse per night. Being a Purina feed dealer, we also have available feeds suitable for travelling horses if required. |

For horses: If you are travelling in the area for vacation, or to attend any of the numerous horse shows in the area, we can accommodate your horse with stalling and/or paddocking. Fees include hay, bedding and water and include mucking for horses on multiple night stays - $25 per single night, or $20 per night for multi-night stays. Proof of negative coggins test is required for all horses, and we count on your horse being up to date on worming and vaccinations. For people: We have parking available with hydro and water hook-up for trailers with living quarters, or rough camping with hydro and water and outdoor facilities during suitable weather. Hook up and parking/camping are only $15 per day. We now have available a nicely appointed spare room with shared bathroom facilities in our home - $40 per night. There are also several motels only 10 minutes away in Carleton Place: Baron's Motor Inn - 613-257-4002 Pond Motel - 613-257-2380 7 West Restaraunt/Motel - 257-5666 and numerous bed & breakfasts in both Carleton Place and Almonte (also only a 10 minute drive from the farm). |
