YC 2008 Information



WHERE?Edmonton, Alberta
  • YC will be held at Rexall Place
    West Zion Youth
  • We will be staying at the Super 8 Motel, West Edmonton (Phone: 780-455-1111)
WHEN? May 23 – 25, 2008
  • Leaving from West Zion Mennonite Church at 2pm Friday May 23rd.,2008.
  • Arrive back at West Zion Mennonite Church around 10pm Sunday May 25th, 2008.
  • Parents are responsible to transport their own children to and from the church.
  • Youth leaders will not be required to transport youth to their homes. Please do not ask them to do this.
COST The cost will depend on how much we are able to fund raise.
  • So far we have asked you to pay a $50 deposit.
  • If we can continue to raise enough funds that will be all we will ask of you however if you do not attend the fundraising events planned in the next few weeks you will be required to pay an additional $175 before May 15th
  • On May 15th we will see how much money the fundraising has raised and we will evaluate at that point if we need to collect any extra money from the parents.
  • NOTE - We will be covering all food (meals and snacks) and accommodation and transportation with the money raised. It would be a good idea to have extra money with you on the weekend of YC to purchase souvenirs etc. Those who do not attend the fund raising events will be required to pay $175.00 in addition to the $50 deposit.
