Members that have switched their servers and\or
changed their e-mail address are requested to
advise CIW681 to enable updating of the Master
DataBase and the e-mail distribution listing.

This also relates to those agencies that have
had a change of title and an obvious change
of e-mail address.

If you did not receive the latest CFARS GenList
message dated 5 Oct 07, then we probably have
an outdated address.

Good day from Trenton

[1]    The primary purpose of this message
   is to advise all stations that, until further
   notice, we have cancelled the scheduled
   Wednesday 2200Z Data\Training net
   on MIKE and ALFA.
[2]    A special thanks to those members
   that continued to make the extra effort
   to check-in and provide required
   relays and assistance throughout.
[4]    Our sessions were not completely
   in vain in-that, we did register over
   twenty stations as MT-63 compatible
   and that had 'hands-on' trng utilizing
   the updated EEI message formats.
   This represents approximately thirty
   percent of our membership, and is
   embarrassingly less than what we had
   anticipated or hoped for.
[5]    At this point I suggest that we can
   maintain in a hold-pattern until such
   time that we can again muster sufficient
   interest (or a NODUF requirement) to
   re-activate the system. One other of the
   major determining factors will certainly
   be improved propagation.
[6]    For those stations that are currently
   attempting to come on line with MT-63,
   you are invited to contact me for further
   assistance or to schedule on-air tests.
[7]    You are reminded that, the Sunday
   informal gathering at 2200Z on JULIET
   remains intact and we look favorably
   at members that have not checked-in
   over many months to please drop by.
