Thank You For your Support!!
THE COCKSHUTT SHED became nine and one half years old today (February 9,
2008), far surpassing its initial goal of five years. Although it
involved much more time and effort than ever imagined at its
conception, the website also brought a great deal of enjoyment and
pleasure. One could safely say that it has changed our lives in
many ways.
One pleasant surprise was the growing numbers shown on the
counters hidden throughout the site but the TRADING POST was the
really tremendous surprise! Attracting many viewers on a
daily basis, it took the website to a whole new level far beyond
anything ever intended. As a result, we received thousands of
e-mails which expressed gratitude for items sold, items purchased and
kind words for a service provided; basically, for giving "Cockshutt"
another spot in cyber space. The pleasure was all ours!
Some very wonderful people have taken time to sign our
Guestbook, have written in for information or just to talk
Cockshutt. "Tractor friends" from many parts of the world
(including every province in Canada and nearly every state in the USA)
have dropped a line to share their photos and their experiences. Many
became good friends and will, we hope, continue to be so.
When the "EveryDay Is A Blessing" page was added, it truly was a
blessing to receive the response from other Cockshutt collectors who
shared their own greetings of faith in return.
A bonus that has provided great satisfaction was the
opportunity to promote the Cockshutt hobby and to advertise
the merits of the International Cockshutt Club on the site. These are two things which have
combined to take over a good part
of our time and our interest and that will, no doubt, continue to be
the case. But as for THE COCKSHUTT SHED, the
time has come to move on. There are other avenues to explore and
much catching up to be done in areas that have been neglected during
the hours spent at this keyboard.
Our thanks to all of you for your support over the years and for
continuing to stop by. It has been a most rewarding experience!!
God bless and keep on building those collections,
Wayne & Gloria.
Our mailbox remains open so drop a line once in a while to say hello!
